We understand that arriving at a doctor’s office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you’ve never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Fairfield chiropractic office for the first time.
Filling out paperwork, navigating insurance and payment questions can all be overwhelming. That’s why at Southport Chiropractic in Fairfield, our aim is to remove any unnecessary stress or tension and make you feel comfortable during your visit with our chiropractor.
We’ve tried our best to answer questions about payments, insurance, and provide you intake forms in case you’re coming in for your first visit. However, if there is something we’ve missed, or if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. We are always here to assist you, whether you’re just asking a question or are a new patient.
Phases of Care
The Wellness Journey
Phase 1: Relief Care
Many people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. In this first phase of care, the main goal is to address the pain, and reduce your symptoms for better overall comfort. This may require daily visits, or two to three visits per week for a period of time until the pain is substantially reduced.
Phase 2: Corrective Care
Now that the pain has been reduced, we need to fix the source of pain, otherwise, the pain will come right back. This phase of care requires patients to actively come into the office and receive corrective care treatment such as spinal decompression therapy, deep tissue laser therapy, spinal adjustments, and specific exercises aimed to correct the spine back into its normal shape.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Now that your spine is back to its optimal shape and the pain has been significantly reduced or eliminated, it is important to come in on a less regular basis for maintenance care.
Just like dental checkups to catch any issues that may be surfacing, or taking your car to get oil changes to ensure proper function, this phase of case if important to maintain your good health.
Insurance
Most insurance plans are filed at our office. We accept auto accidents, workers compensation, personal injury and file for most health insurance plans, including Medicare.

We would love to help everyone, even those without insurance or looking for a budget-friendly solution to their wellness.
We do offer discounted cash payments, and custom family plans based on your needs!
